Player in mind. Marcello C. Monteiro naturally falls into the 155 lbs. weight class. If you want to learn how to defend against lightweights by learning their game, or if you are like Marcello and looking to better your game, then this is the APP is for you!

We developed this training app for BJJ Coach in late 2017 but it was removed from the Apple Store in favor of BJJ Coach Step by Step Curriculum iOS app that follows the latest Apple design guidelines for apps.

The sections include

  • Biography: A brief look at the Professor and his background since he was living, teaching, and training Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil.
  • Publications: Articles in newspapers and magazines showing Prof. Monteiro’s accomplishments/achievements in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (NOTE: The majority of these articles were published in Brazil before Marcello’s move to the USA).
  • Certificates: Black Belt Diplomas from Brazil’s main Jiu-Jitsu Federations/Confederations.
  • Videos: Historical training videos (Marcello rolling with De La Riva), training after seminars, old BJJ competitions in Brazil, and MMA.
